Standard color: gray-brown body, blue head and chest. The male of some species has red cheeks, while the female does not have these colors. 

Personality: Excellent aviary bird and active. Keep a stable temperature of 25C. 

Known health problem: fears the cold. 

Note:
 They reproduce easily in captivity. 

Reproduction: Lays from 3 to 5 eggs. Incubation of 13 to 14 days.
