Ornate Lorikeet or Rainbow Lori

Standard color: green body, blue head, red neck and throat, breast streaked black. The colors vary depending on the species. 

Personality:
 These birds are very active players. Their cry is acute and may be disturbing to some. 

Known health problems:
 liver disease, fungal infections, bacterial infections, parasites. 

Note: Loris are represented by several species however, this type of Lori is more popular. Their diet is different from other parrots. They eat nectar fluids and a wide variety of fruit. 

Reproduction: Lays 2 eggs. Incubation period of about 26 days.
