Soft bristled brush designed for cats which helps untangle knots, remove loose fur, prevent hair balls, reduce shedding and improve the natural shine of the coat. Works well on both longhaired and shorthaired cats. Comfortable handle.

Used daily to brush the coats of cats in order to untangle knots, remove loose fur, prevent hair balls, reduce shedding and improve the natural shine of the coat.

Brush in the direction of hair growth, from head to tail and then down the legs.

For shorthaired cats: use small, quick strokes, angling the brush to remove loose hair and debris.

For longhaired cats: use long brush strokes, separating the hair as needed. To fluff the coat, brush against the direction of hair growth.

It is important get cats accustomed to being brushed, especially those with long hair, from a very young age. By brushing them regularly, we can possibly avoid:

1. The accumulation of hair balls in the digestive tube causing irritation and vomiting. Some hairballs can get big and dense to the point of causing a gastric or intestinal obstruction;
2. The formation of a big uncomfortable knots (especially on the back) that are difficult to remove manually. These big knots hay even be harmful for the health of the skin and it’s function as a natural barrier against surrounding microorganisms;

In order to make the experience of brushing enjoyable for the cat and the human doing it, it is recommended to reward the cat after each brushing, above all during the initiation to brushing period.

Gently brush the regions prone to knots namely behind the ears, on the chest, on the abdomen and on the back paws.
