Advantage® II for adult dogs and puppies
Anti-parasitic in the form of a liquid contained in a tube conceived to be applied directly to the skin of puppies and dogs and which serves to kill on contact the adult fleas living on the animal as well as stop the development of larvae and eggs present in the environment.
Name and concentration of the molecule: Imidacloprid 9.1% et pyripoxyfen 0.46%
Indications
Used to kill on contact the adult fleas living on puppies and dogs and to stop the development of the larvae and eggs of fleas present in their environment.
Action mode
Imidacloprid works on the neuroreceptor cells of adult insects causing a malfunctioning of the central nervous system which leads to their death.
The pyripoxyfen controls the growth of insects by preventing the maturation of their eggs and larvae. It mimics the growth hormone of young insects and stpos their development during larvae metamorphosis and development.
Posology
As a cure: apply 1 tube once a month for 4 months.
For prevention: apply 1 tube per month. Each tube works for a period of 28 days.
Manual
First open the tube by perforating the tip with the integrated needle in the cap of the tube. With the animal in the upright position, part the fur on the back to expose the skin. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and empty the tube progressively by pressing on it at 4 different areas along the spine.
Recommendation
When applying the product, make sure to empty the tube high enough on the neck to avoid the dog being able to lick it.
Caution
Do not use on puppies under 7 weeks of age. Do not touch the product application site for 2 hours following application.
